Mid-Career Transformation

Maybe you’ve been doing the same job for a number of years and never been satisfied. Maybe you’ve done a lot of jobs over a shorter period and are exhausted by nothing “clicking”. Perhaps you’ve just been laid off. Or perhaps you’ve been a full-time parent (the hardest job, btw!) for some years and are trying to return to a more traditional workforce. Regardless of your specific circumstances, change can be scary, especially if you believe you’re destined for more of the same. 

I’ll work tirelessly with you to work through long-standing internal and external barriers, determining what is real and what are the stories you’re telling yourself. In turn, we’ll create an actionable plan to move you closer to attaining the goals (and lifestyle) you GENUINELY want to achieve. Ultimately, you’ll find yourself pursuing a professional (and likely personal) path that is most authentic and holistically rewarding to you. 

Corporate - 1:1 & Group Facilitation

Most companies at any stage - early, growth, established, and F500 - understand that their greatest asset is the people that work for them. Generally speaking, executives have good faith intentions to help their employees develop in ways that are beneficial to both the individual and the organization they represent. That said, while many executives would love to have the time to listen, empathize with and coach their employees, the reality is they don’t. 

Employees come from different backgrounds, have varying interests and observations, and need to be communicated to in unique ways. Providing employees with a coaching resource, via 1:1 and/or group settings, to work through real life challenges and to set and achieve personal and professional goals will allow them the space they need to be heard, and ultimately, channel energy in a more positive and productive way for themselves and the organization. I welcome the opportunity to be that 1:1 resource and/or group facilitator for employees at all levels.

Executive 1:1 and Leadership Team Coaching

Executives and leadership team members face a slew of challenges and opportunities on a daily basis. Short-term decisions. Long-term decisions. Personnel matters. The list is seemingly endless.

Through my work with countless organizational leaders, the common thread that leads to either success or failure is the level of awareness a person has before making impactful decisions. Awareness around historical patterns, conditioned behaviors and triggers. Awareness around the emotional backdrop of the moment. Awareness around active listening. Awareness of another person’s habits or tendencies. Even marginal increase in awareness can yield exponential positive results in how a leadership team operates, and it turn, how an organization functions. I always appreciate the opportunity to partner with executives and help them build sustainable self-coaching muscles.

Mid-Level & Emerging Sales Leaders

Having spent 15 years in various sales/business development roles at tech companies large (Google) and growth (Foursquare, Placed, Blue State Digital, Enigma), I truly understand three realities: 1) sales can be stressful and requires a different type of support; 2) other than top executives, sales leaders rarely are given the support needed to be successful with the demands put on them, internally and externally; and 3) “business” problems are often personal communication problems.

I’ll work with you to develop a game plan that allows you to be the type of sales leader that’s authentic to you while achieving the goals we collectively develop (e.g.. working collaboratively with other teams, “managing up” more effectively, consistently motivating your team, getting promoted, etc).
